The Menu
Digital restaurant menus for COVID

About the project
The Menu was built during the COVID-19 pandemic to solve a simple problem: restaurants needed a way to get their menus onto customers' phones without physical contact. Paper menus were a health concern, and most existing solutions were clunky or expensive.
Restaurant owners could create a clean, mobile-friendly digital menu in minutes. Customers scanned a QR code at the table and instantly saw the menu on their phone — no app download required.
This was intended as a public benefit. Restaurants were struggling, and the goal was to give them something useful without adding cost. After COVID abated and the urgency faded, work on the project was paused.
